A Real Shot In The Arm

The Virginian recently completed the third of three rounds of COVID-19 vaccinations for our residents and staff. These vaccinations were organized and conducted on our campus in conjunction with our partners at CVS.

Subsequently, we are pleased to be working with State and County Health Officials to develop expanded opportunities for engagement for our residents and their family members. We hope to be able to implement in-person visitation and off-campus travel very soon.

We will also hope to begin offering expanded opportunities for our residents to travel outside of the community and participate in a broader range of group activities, including access to the fitness center access and limited group dining. 

However, these changes will not affect The Virginian's continued observation of the COVID-19 safety recommendations of our state and local health departments and the National Center for Disease Control. 

We will also continue to promote the wearing of face masks, the frequent washing of hands, and maintaining a safe social distance in our campus's public areas.

At The Virginian, the health and safety of our residents will always be our #1 priority. While we all long to return to the unrestricted freedoms we enjoyed before the pandemic began, The Virginian will continue to act in the best interest of our residents and our dedicated staff.
